Average Experience • Average Professors • Disliked Most Courses • Average Work Load • Poor Admin Support
Limited professional or workplace relevant instruction. Heavy emphasis on theoretical and abstract concepts. Most courses are not applicable to career paths. Information is great, very interesting but has limited applications. It is a great stepping stone to post-graduate studies -- HOWEVER I would not recommend a Masters in Communications following this program. Better off to take a graduate certificate in an industry specific field (Corporate Comms, PR, CSR/Sustainability, Marketing, Social Media Management) to gain practical, applied experience, network with industry leaders and learn to draft different communications deliverables.
