A lot of ppl question going into med sci because of the fail-out rate, but honestly if you put in the work you’ll make it. The first 2 years are basically just basic science courses you’d need for different med school/professional school apps. The second 2 are much more enjoyable, the courses become much more specific to what you want to learn. I personally chose the IMS module to chose courses from different disciplines, and found I enjoyed the neuroanatomy and one health courses most — but physiology is probably most popular. There isn’t a thesis option in IMS (there is in the other modules) but the CEL capstone course gave great opportunities to work in the community and learn more about social determinants of health. Overall it gives you a strong background for diff professional schools, but likelihood of finding a job after just the undergrad is near-zero (though possible).
