Great Experience Great Professors Enjoyed Most Courses Average Work Load Great Admin Support

My experience as an undergrad student in Political Science and History has been a mostly positive one. The school has more good professors than bad ones and the classes are interesting. Some of the workload can be overbearing though, but this depends more on the professor than anything else. Although it's over, the school and professors were more lenient on students for exams, papers and deadlines during COVID. Fourth year classes were great, they turn into seminars (meaning you have to participate in class by providing answers to the professors questions) which is pretty helpful if you want to do a Masters (all courses turn into seminars in the post-gradudate field) Even though this is a lot minor, one thing I disliked was the lack of fiction novels in the library. Universities have a vast network of books and articles from scientific journals, but the fiction section is mostly empty if you ever wanted to borrow a novel.
